The Leadership Team is made up from leaders from different parts of church life – the Minister, the Treasurer, the Church Stewards, folk involved with leading worship, the Safeguarding Co-ordinator, the Property Co-ordinator, the Children’s Ministry worker and the Pastoral Co-ordinator. As a team they make recommendations and plans for special services and events in the life of the church. They also think about future plans and activities.

Church Stewards

We currently have a team of five stewards whose role is to support the Minister. Stewards also ensure that everything is prepared for worship and most importantly welcome people to worship! If you have any concerns or require assistance then please do speak to one of the stewards at Church. Our current Stewards are Sue, Sylvia, Karen, Val & Connie.

Pastoral Care

A dedicated team of people provide first line pastoral support to Church members working with our Minister, our Pastoral Co-ordinator, Sylvia and commissioned Pastoral Visitors.

Safeguarding

At Southside we take the safeguarding of our children & young people very seriously. The care and protection of children, young people and adults involved in church activities is the responsibility of everyone who participates in the life of the Church.  Our safeguarding officer is Connie.
